Ten words, ten timers, one brain โ can you unscramble them all before the clock runs out?
How to play Word Scramble
How to play
Word Scramble deals you ten rounds of jumbled letters, each with its own twenty-second timer. A clue appears above the tiles to nudge your brain in the right direction โ the letters below are the answer, shuffled. Tap the purple letter tiles in the right order (or simply type the letters on your keyboard) to build the word in the answer row. The moment your answer is as long as the hidden word, it is checked automatically: get it right and you bank points plus a speed bonus, then the next round begins. If the timer hits zero before you solve it, the round slips away with no points and a new word takes its place.
Controls
Mouse or touch: tap a letter tile to move it into the answer row; tap a letter in the answer row to send it back. Keyboard: type letters to add them, Backspace to remove the last letter, and Enter to submit early. The Hint button reveals one correct letter for 15 points, and Clear empties the answer row. Click Start Game to begin, and Play Again after round ten to shuffle a fresh set.
Tips
Read the clue first โ it often hands you the word's meaning and cuts the guesswork in half. Look for common endings like ING, ED, and ER in the jumble, and try pairing vowels with consonants to spot syllables. Save hints for long words where one revealed letter unlocks the rest, and never spend a hint in the final seconds of a round you are about to time out on. Fast, confident rounds are worth far more than slow ones, so commit to a guess instead of rearranging tiles forever.
Scoring
Each correct word earns 100 points plus 5 bonus points for every second left on the timer โ a lightning-fast solve can be worth nearly 200 points. Hints cost 15 points each (never dropping your score below zero), and a wrong guess costs 10 points before your answer is cleared for another try. Timing out earns nothing. Your final total after ten rounds is the score to beat, so speed and accuracy share the prize equally.
