🤹 Tightrope Trixie
One wobbly wire, one brave acrobat, and a whole lot of wind. Keep your balance and steal the show!
How to play Tightrope Trixie
How to play
Tightrope Trixie is the star of the circus, and her act is simple: walk five high-wires from one platform to the other without falling. Trixie walks forward on her own — your job is balance. A shifting wind constantly shoves her sideways, and every few seconds a gust slams in (watch for the flashing warning). Hold ◀ or ▶ — or press the left/right half of the screen — to lean against the push and keep her upright. Floating stars hover over each wire: walk through them for 100 bonus points each.
Controls
- Desktop: hold the Left and Right arrow keys (or A / D) to lean. Enter starts, advances, or restarts.
- Mobile: press and hold the left or right half of the game screen to lean that way. Use two thumbs for quick corrections.
- Buttons: Start, Next Rope, and Play Again all work by click or tap.
Tips
- Small taps beat hard holds — lean in short pulses and let the tilt settle near zero instead of overcorrecting into a wobble.
- When the gust warning flashes, pre-lean into the incoming gust so it pushes you back toward center instead of off the wire.
- Stars are worth the detour only in your timing, not your position — you collect them by walking past, so never lean hard just for a star.
- Later ropes are faster and windier; save your sharpest focus for ropes four and five.
- If Trixie starts oscillating, release everything for half a second — the wire's own springiness will calm her down.
Scoring
Every star is worth 100 points. Crossing a rope earns a 500-point bonus plus up to 300 speed points for a fast walk (faster walks score more). Cross all five ropes for the Star of the Show title. You have three lives — each fall costs one, so a perfect five-rope run with all twenty stars is the ultimate score to chase.
