๐ฅ Sumo Push
Charge your shove, corner the rival, and bounce him clean out of the dohyo!
How to play Sumo Push
How to play
Sumo Push drops you into a straw-ringed dohyo for a best-of-5 shoving showdown against a crafty CPU rival. You are the blue sumo, the CPU is red, and there is one rule: whoever leaves the ring loses the round. Bump, jostle and dash-shove your opponent across the straw bales while keeping your own feet on the sand. The first wrestler to win 3 rounds takes the bout and the title of yokozuna.
Controls
- Keyboard: move with the arrow keys or WASD. Hold Space to charge your push, release it to dash-shove in your current direction (or straight at the rival if standing still).
- Touch / mouse: drag anywhere on the ring to steer with a virtual joystick, then press and hold the big PUSH button to charge and lift your finger to dash.
- Press Enter the Ring to start and Play Again for an instant rematch.
Tips
- A full charge hits much harder, but you move slowly while charging โ wind up near the center, never at the edge.
- Dashing past the rival is the classic rookie mistake. Aim slightly to the side of his body so your momentum carries you along the ring, not out of it.
- Let the CPU come to you: it loves to charge, and a sidestep at the last moment can send it tumbling out under its own power.
Scoring
Each round is winner-takes-all: shove the rival out and the round is yours, tumble out yourself and it goes to the CPU. If both wrestlers leave the ring at the same instant, nobody scores and the round simply replays. First to 3 round wins claims the match, shown live in the score bar above the ring. No timer, no judge's decision โ only the ring, the rival, and your shove.
