How to play

Ski Slalom drops you at the top of a snowy mountain with one goal: race the clock and thread every flag gate on your way down. Your skier slides downhill automatically while the course scrolls past, getting a little faster with every passing second. Gates appear as pairs of poles — a red flag on the left, a blue flag on the right — and you score each time you ski through the gap between them. Miss the gap and it counts against you. Pine trees dot the slope; clipping one stuns you and costs points. Each run lasts sixty seconds, and your score locks in when the clock hits zero.

Controls

Steering is simple. Hold the left and right arrow keys (or A and D) to carve across the slope, or press and drag directly on the course with your finger or mouse — the skier glides smoothly toward your touch. Press Enter to start or restart a run from the overlays. The game runs entirely in your browser with no downloads and works offline.

Tips

Cut your turns early: the next gate can sit far from the last one, so start drifting toward it the moment you clear the current gap. Hover near the middle of the slope so you can reach gates on either side. Give pine trees a wide berth — a stunned skier cannot dodge the gate that follows. Small, smooth corrections beat wild zigzags, and oversteering is the number one cause of missed gates.

Scoring

Threading a gate cleanly earns 100 points. Missing a gate costs 25 points, and hitting a pine tree costs 50 points plus a short stun. Your best score is saved on your device — chase that new best every run!
