How to play
RPS Arena is the classic rock-paper-scissors duel against the computer, played as a best-of-five showdown. Each round, you throw Rock, Paper, or Scissors at the same moment the computer throws its own. Rock crushes Scissors, Scissors cut Paper, and Paper covers Rock. Win a round and you take the point; if both throws match, the round is a tie and nobody scores. After five rounds, the higher score wins the match — and yes, a draw is possible, so every single round counts.
Controls
Click or tap one of the three big emoji buttons: ✊ for Rock, ✋ for Paper, ✌️ for Scissors. Keyboard players can press R, P, or S for the same throws. The buttons lock during the animated reveal, so each round registers exactly one throw — no double taps, no take-backs.
Tips
The computer throws completely at random, so there is no pattern to crack — but most humans are predictable, and randomness punishes habits. Mix up your throws instead of repeating a winning one. A classic trick: after a loss, players tend to switch, and after a win they tend to repeat — throwing the move that beats your own last throw often lands. Keep an eye on the round history panel to see what has been played and plan your final rounds. Down 0–2? Play bold; the math rewards the brave.
Scoring
A round win is worth 1 point for you or the computer, and ties score zero. Most points after five rounds takes the match. Sweep all five for maximum bragging rights — a 5–0 shutout means you are officially unbeatable.
