🎹 Piano Tiles
Tap the dark tiles, never the empty keys — how long can you keep up?
How to play Piano Tiles
How to play
Piano Tiles is the classic reflex racer: four lanes carry dark tiles downward toward the glowing target line at the bottom. Tap each dark tile before it slides past the line — it bursts with a satisfying pop. Let one escape untouched, or tap an empty lane, and the run ends instantly. There is no timer and no finish line: the tiles just keep falling faster until your reflexes give out.
Controls
Click or tap the dark tiles directly with your mouse or finger. Keyboard players can use 1, 2, 3, and 4 to strike the four lanes from left to right — the lowest on-screen tile in that lane is hit. One tap equals one tile, so keep a steady rhythm and always aim for the tile closest to the target line first.
Tips
Watch the target line, not the top of the screen — the danger zone is at the bottom. Build a rhythm early while tiles are slow; panic-tapping at high speed causes empty-lane mistakes. On mobile, use two thumbs like a real piano; on desktop, rest four fingers on 1–4. Never double-tap a lane after a hit — the next tile may not have arrived, and an empty tap ends everything.
Scoring
Every dark tile you hit scores exactly 1 point, and your best score is saved in your browser so you can chase it every run. Speed increases every few tiles, so long runs demand sharper and sharper reactions. A miss, an untouched tile, or a tap on empty space all end the game — how many tiles can you string together?
