⚽ Penalty Shootout
Five kicks, one diving keeper, zero mercy — bury it in the corners!
How to play Penalty Shootout
How to play
Penalty Shootout puts you on the spot — literally. You get five penalties against a goalkeeper who dives left, right, or holds his ground. Aim the crosshair, then shoot: the ball rockets toward your aim point while the keeper launches himself across the goal. Find the net and you score; hit it too close to the keeper and he parries it away; miss the frame and the ball sails into row Z. After five kicks your tally decides your striker rating. Your best five-kick haul is saved in this browser, so every shootout is a rematch with your own record.
Controls
- Mouse: move the pointer over the goal to aim the crosshair, click to shoot.
- Touch: tap anywhere inside the goal to shoot straight at that spot.
- Keyboard: use the arrow keys to nudge the crosshair, then press Space to shoot.
- Start / restart: click the big button, or press Enter.
Tips
- The corners are king — shots tucked inside the posts are nearly unsavable, while anything central is keeper food.
- The keeper guesses a side most of the time, so vary your placement; shooting the same corner twice in a row is asking to be read.
- The crosshair wobbles slightly, so shoot the moment it drifts onto your spot.
- Top corners are the safest spot on the pitch, but flirt with the frame and you will miss completely — leave a margin.
Scoring
Each of your five penalties is a goal, a save, or a miss. Your rating: 5 goals is a 🏆 Perfect Five, 4 is a ⭐ Super Striker, 3 is a 👍 Solid Shift, 2 needs work, and 0–1 means the keeper owned you. Consecutive goals build a streak counter for bragging rights, and your best goals-out-of-five total is stored on this device.
