How to play Paper Toss
How to play
Paper Toss turns a classroom classic into a breezy arcade challenge. A crumpled paper ball sits on the desk, the wastebasket glints across the room, and the wind has opinions about everything. You get 6 paper balls and a target number of baskets to make โ sink at least that many to win the round. Every throw is a mini physics puzzle: distance, height, your flick, and a gusty wind that changes strength and direction between throws.
Controls
Press and hold anywhere on the game (mouse, finger or stylus), drag away from the basket to pull back like a slingshot โ dotted trajectory dots preview your arc โ then release to toss. A longer pull means more power. You can also flick quickly: a fast swipe in the release direction still counts, with power from your swipe speed. Press Space or Enter to start or restart, and tap the Easy / Medium / Hard buttons any time to switch difficulty.
Tips
The wind meter above the game is your best friend: arrows pointing right mean your shot drifts right, so aim slightly into the wind instead. A high, soft arc is more forgiving than a flat rocket โ the ball drops straighter into the basket. Hitting the rim or backboard still bounces the ball, so a slightly-too-far throw can bank in. Watch for streaks: consecutive hits multiply your points, so play the safe shot when your streak is hot rather than gambling on a hero throw.
Scoring
Each basket is worth 10 points times your current streak, so a first hit scores 10, the next one 20, then 30 โ a miss resets the streak to zero. Winning needs 2 hits on Easy, 3 on Medium and 4 on Hard, all from just 6 balls. Your best score per difficulty is saved on this device.
