👀 Odd One Out
Trust your eyes — but hurry, the clock is ticking!
How to play Odd One Out
How to play
Odd One Out is a 60-second eye test. Each round shows a grid of identical-looking emoji tiles — except one sneaky tile that is slightly different: a different emoji, a weird tilt, a color shift, or a slightly bigger size. Tap the odd one fast to jump to the next round. There are 10 rounds, and the grids grow while the differences shrink. Beat all 10 before time runs out for a monster score.
Controls
Click or tap the tile you think is the odd one out. On a keyboard, use the arrow keys to move the orange highlight across the grid and press Enter or Space to pick the highlighted tile. Enter also starts the game from the start screen.
Tips
Don't stare tile by tile — relax your gaze and let the difference pop out; peripheral vision catches tilts and color shifts well. Scan row by row instead of jumping around. The odd tile is placed randomly, so resist always picking corners. A wrong tap costs 3 seconds — far more than the half-second a careful scan takes.
Scoring
Every correct pick earns 100 points plus a speed bonus of up to 120 extra points — the faster you spot it, the more you bank. Correct streaks build momentum but don't change the math: raw speed is king. A wrong tap costs 3 seconds on the clock but no points, so think before you tap when the timer runs low. Finishing all 10 rounds before time expires adds a 250-point clear bonus.
