How to play

Neon Breakout is a classic brick-breaker with a glowing twist. A ball bounces around the arena and your paddle sits at the bottom — keep the ball in play and smash every neon brick to clear the level. There are 3 levels, each with a trickier brick layout and a faster ball. Some bricks are armored and need two hits to crack; they flash brighter when weakened. Catch the falling power-up chips dropped by shattered bricks: W widens your paddle, S slows the ball down, and M splits it into a glorious triple-ball frenzy. Lose a ball and you lose a life; lose all 3 lives and the run is over. Clear all 3 levels and you win.

Controls

Move the paddle with your mouse, by dragging your finger across the canvas, or with the ← and → arrow keys (A and D work too). Tapping the canvas also nudges the paddle toward the tap point. Press Enter on the start screen to launch the first ball, and Enter again to restart after the game ends. Everything is tuned for phones and desktops alike.

Tips

Angle your shots on purpose: the ball bounces off the paddle at a steeper angle when it hits near the edges, so steer it toward the armored bricks first. Save multi-ball for dense clusters — three balls can shred a whole row in seconds. Grab the S chip the moment things get chaotic; a slower ball is an easier ball. And watch the top wall: a ball parked up there can bounce for ages without hitting anything, so flatten the high rows early.

Scoring

Each normal brick is worth 10 points, armored bricks 20, and clearing a level banks a 250-point bonus. Your best score is saved on your device, so chase your own record — a perfect triple-ball run on level 3 is worth bragging about.
