How to play Mini Solitaire
How to play
Mini Solitaire is a quick, friendly take on classic Golf solitaire. Thirty-five cards are dealt face-up into five columns of seven, one card starts the waste pile, and sixteen wait in the stock. Your goal: clear every card from the tableau. The bottom card of each column is exposed and playable — tap it to move it onto the waste pile if it is exactly one rank higher or lower than the waste card. A 7 plays on a 6 or an 8, a Queen on a Jack or a King, and suits do not matter. When nothing fits, tap the stock to flip a fresh waste card. Aces count as 1 (they only match Twos) and there is no wrap-around, so Kings only match Queens. Clear all 35 cards to win; run out of stock with no match and the round ends.
Controls
- Touch / mouse: tap an exposed (bottom) tableau card to play it; tap the purple stock pile to draw a new waste card.
- Keyboard: Left/Right arrows choose a column, Enter or Space plays its exposed card, S draws from the stock.
- Press Play to deal a new round, Play Again to reshuffle.
Tips
- Spot long chains first: a run like 5-6-7-8 clears four cards on one waste card, so look before you commit.
- Save the stock for emergencies — burn through visible matches before flipping.
- Clear the tallest columns early to expose buried cards while you still have stock.
Scoring
Every cleared card is worth 10 points (350 for a perfect tableau). Winning adds a time bonus of up to 300 points — faster finishes score bigger. Your best score is saved on this device!
