How to play
Memory Match is the classic game of concentration, rebuilt for your browser. Sixteen face-down cards hide 8 emoji pairs. Tap a card to flip it, then flip a second one — if the two emojis match, the pair stays face-up and glows green; if not, both cards flip back over and you try again. Clear all 8 pairs to finish the round. The challenge is remembering where you have already seen each emoji, because every wrong guess costs you precious moves.
Controls
- Touch / mouse: tap any card to flip it face-up.
- Keyboard: use the arrow keys to move the golden focus frame from card to card, then press Space or Enter to flip the focused card.
- Press the Play button to start, and Play Again on the results screen for another round with a fresh shuffle.
Tips
- Work in rows or columns so every flip teaches you something — flip an unknown card next to a known one whenever you can.
- When a flip reveals a card whose partner you already know, flip the partner immediately on your next turn instead of guessing.
- Take a breath after each miss: the cards stay face-up for a moment, which is your chance to memorize both positions.
- The fewer moves you make, the higher your score, so think one flip ahead rather than tapping randomly.
Scoring
Every round starts at 2,000 points. Each pair of flips (one move) costs 30 points and every second costs 5 points, with a guaranteed minimum of 100 points. Your final score, move count and time are shown on the results screen, and the game saves your fewest-moves record and your best score on your device. Can you beat your own record?
