How to play Math Blitz

How to play

Math Blitz is a 60-second arithmetic sprint. One question appears at a time — 7 × 8 = ? or 45 + 17 = ? — and you race to type the answer and submit it before the next one appears. There are no lives and no penalties for guessing: wrong answers just reset your streak, so speed matters more than perfection. The questions get harder as you solve more of them, moving from easy addition up to tricky two-digit multiplication. When the clock hits zero, your run ends: score 1500 points or more and you win the Blitz Champion title, anything less and the game challenges you to try again.

Controls

Tap the on-screen keypad to enter digits, ⌫ to erase, and Go to submit — perfect on phones and tablets. On a keyboard, just type the numbers and press Enter. Backspace erases. Press Enter on the start screen to begin the countdown, and Enter again to play another round after the game ends.

Tips

Keep your fingers on the number row — every millisecond counts. Don't freeze on hard multiplication: a wrong guess only resets the streak, while staring at the question burns your whole run. Two-digit multiplication has patterns you can lean on: for 12 × n, do 10 × n plus 2 × n. And chase the streak bonus rhythmically — answering slightly slower but correctly every time beats fast wild guessing.

Scoring

Every correct answer is worth 100 points plus 25 points per streak step: the first in a row earns 100, the second 125, the third 150. Every 5-answer streak also adds 2 bonus seconds to your clock — long streaks literally buy you time. Your best score is saved on your device. Can you crack 1500 and take the crown?
