How to Play
Strap in, commander! Your lunar module is drifting down toward the Moon's craggy surface, and four landing pads are waiting below — each narrower and more valuable than the last. Your mission: touch down on all four pads without turning your lander into a crater. Gravity pulls you down the whole way, your fuel tank is limited, and the Moon's mountains are brutally unforgiving. Land softly, stay upright and keep your speed in check — then throttle back up and line up the next pad. Three crashes and the mission is scrubbed!
Controls
- Keyboard: Left and Right arrows (or A / D) tilt the lander; Up arrow (or W / Spacebar) fires the main thruster.
- Touch: hold the ◀ and ▶ buttons to tilt, and hold the big THRUST button to burn fuel.
- Short, gentle thrusts beat long panicked burns — feather the throttle like a real pilot.
Scoring
Every successful landing scores pad points: the wide beginner pad pays 100, and the skinny expert pad pays 400, plus a bonus for each drop of fuel you saved on the way down. Landing also refuels your tank for the next attempt. Secure all four pads to complete the mission and set your best score, which is saved on this device. Crash three times and the mission ends — so fly like your crew is watching.
Tips
- Kill your sideways drift early — horizontal speed is what ruins most landings.
- Start braking high up; gravity keeps accelerating you all the way down.
- Keep the lander nearly upright at touchdown — tilted landings end in fireworks.
- Watch the fuel gauge: landings refuel you, but running dry mid-descent means committing to whatever trajectory you already have.
