How to play Jigsaw Puzzle
How to play
Jigsaw Puzzle starts with a freshly painted artwork — a new one every game — scattered into pieces across the tray. Pick a size from 9 to 36 pieces, then drag each piece into the board frame. Pieces snap and lock when close to their true home. Beat the countdown to win: 3×3 gives 3 minutes, 4×4 gives 5, 5×5 gives 8 and 6×6 gives 12. Finish every piece for a star rating; run out of time and the puzzle stays unfinished.
Controls
Drag pieces with mouse or finger — the grabbed piece lifts to the top. On keyboard, click a piece to select it, nudge with arrow keys (Shift for bigger steps), Enter to snap, P to pause. Size buttons, Start and Play Again all work with Enter, and everything is touch friendly.
Tips
Start with corners and straight edges — they fit few spots and give you a fast frame to build inward from. The reference thumbnail in the corner shows the finished artwork, so check which colors live where. Work one region at a time: on big flat zones like sky and grass, piece shape matters more than color, while the sun and mountains are easy landmarks. Sweep pieces roughly into place — the snap does the rest.
Scoring
Every piece is worth 100 points minus 3 per second on the clock — speed pays. Finish in under 35% of the time limit for 3 stars, under 60% for 2 stars, anything else earns 1 star. Time-outs score zero. Your best is saved on your device — beat it on a bigger board for bragging rights.
