How to play Hoop Shots
How to play
Hoop Shots is a 60-second basketball shootout. Drag down on the ball and release to launch it in a gravity arc while the hoop slides side to side, changing speed after every swish. Drop the ball cleanly through the rim for points and a fresh ball; miss and your streak resets. When the clock hits zero, your final score and best streak appear โ one tap starts a new run.
Controls
Press the ball, drag down and slightly sideways, then lift to shoot โ longer drags launch harder. Mouse works the same via click-and-drag. Keyboard: Left/Right nudge aim, Up/Down change power, Space launches. The dotted guide previews your arc while aiming.
Tips
Lead the hoop: pull a long, near-vertical drag and release as the rim glides under your arc, since the ball hangs long enough for the hoop to travel mid-flight. A slight tilt nudges the landing spot, and weak flicks won't reach rim height โ commit to full power. Banks off the backboard can save drifting shots. Protect the streak above all: a safe swish keeps the multiplier alive, a rushed heave resets it.
Scoring
Each swish scores 2 points times your current streak โ 2, then 4, 6, 8 for consecutive swishes. Any miss resets the streak to zero. Attempts are unlimited, so fast, confident shooting wins. Your best streak is shown on the time-up screen as the record to beat.
