๐ Hill Surfer
Dive the downslopes, fly the crests โ how far can you surf before the belly flop?
How to play Hill Surfer
How to play
Hill Surfer is an endless downhill ride across procedurally generated rolling hills. Your little surfer slides along the slopes on autopilot โ your only control is gravity itself. Hold down to dive: you get heavier, grip the hill, and pick up serious speed on every downslope. Release at just the right moment and you launch off the crest, soaring until the next hill rises to meet you. Land smoothly on a downhill and you keep flying; slam in at a bad angle and the belly flop ends your run.
Controls
- Hold to dive: press and hold Space, the Down arrow, your mouse button, or your finger on the game area.
- Release to fly: let go to go light and launch off crests.
- Press Start Surfing to begin and Surf Again for an instant retry.
Tips
- Dive into the downslopes โ that is where all your speed comes from. Holding on flat or uphill ground just bleeds momentum.
- Release a heartbeat before the crest, not at it. The classic rhythm is: dive the valley, release the peak, land the next downhill.
- Perfect landings (touching down almost parallel to the slope) grant a burst of speed, so aim your airtime at long, smooth downslopes.
Scoring
Your score is distance plus bonuses: every stretch of hill you travel adds points, each coin is worth 25, and every perfect landing adds a 50-point bonus on top of its speed boost. There is no finish line โ the run ends only when you belly flop, and your best score is saved in your browser so every attempt is a duel against your own record.
