How to play Garden Guardian

How to play

Garden Guardian puts you in charge of a sunny little flower patch with nine soil beds. Flowers grow through stages — seedling, sprout, bud, then a full bloom — but every plant gets thirstier by the second. Tap a plant to give it water; watering a young plant helps it grow one stage, and tapping a fully bloomed flower harvests it for 50 points. If a plant's thirst meter fills completely, it wilts and you lose one of your three hearts. Pesky weeds pop up in empty beds every few seconds — tap them to pull them out for 5 bonus points each. Reach 400 points to save the garden and win; lose all three hearts and the weeds take over.

Controls

Play entirely with your mouse or finger: just tap the plot you want to act on. Watering, harvesting and weeding are all a single tap — the game figures out what each plant needs. On a keyboard, press 1 through 9 to tend the matching plot (1–3 is the top row, 7–9 the bottom). Press Enter to start or restart from the overlays. No downloads, no sign-ups — it runs right in your browser.

Tips

Don't wait for a plant to look droopy — thirst builds silently, so keep circling the garden and water everything regularly. Prioritize plants that are one watering away from blooming, because a harvest frees the bed for a fresh seedling. Pull weeds quickly: they don't hurt plants directly, but they block the bed and slow your harvests. Empty beds are free — tap one to plant a seed and keep all nine beds working at once.

Scoring

Each harvested flower is worth 50 points, and every pulled weed earns 5 points. First to 400 points wins the round. Your best score is saved on this device, so you can chase a personal record every visit.
