How to play
Duck Pond Dash is a pond-crossing adventure starring a brave mama duck and her three fluffy ducklings. The pond is a grid of eight columns and nine rows, and your job is to hop the family from the sunny home shore at the bottom to the far shore at the top. Seven lanes of water stand between you and safety, and zooming speedboats tear across every lane in alternating directions. Reach the far shore to bank 50 points, then the family paddles home and the next round begins with even faster boats. Each boat bump costs you one duckling, and losing all three ends the run. Hungry? Breadcrumbs drift on the water for 10 points each, and a rare golden crumb is worth 25 points and brings back a lost duckling.
Controls
- Desktop: hop one square with the arrow keys or WASD.
- Mobile: swipe up, down, left or right on the pond to hop; tap to start.
- Keyboard: Enter or Space starts a new crossing from the menu or game-over screen.
Tips
- Boats alternate direction per lane — study a lane's flow for a second before hopping in.
- Never chase a crumb into a boat's path; one safe crossing is worth five crumbs.
- Golden crumbs restore a duckling, so detour for one only when the lane is clear.
- After a bump you flash invulnerable for two seconds — use it to get off the water, not to grab snacks.
- The ducklings trail behind mama, so plan your turns early — the family follows your exact hops.
Scoring
Every breadcrumb is 10 points, golden crumbs are 25 points plus a rescued duckling, and each completed crossing banks 50 points. There is no timer — your score is pure pond-crossing courage. Your best dash is saved in this browser.
