How to play Dartboard Dash
How to play
Dartboard Dash is a timing game played on a full-sized cartoon dartboard. A crosshair sways back and forth in front of the board, and your job is to throw your dart at the exact moment the crosshair sits over a high-value target. You get 3 rounds of 5 darts โ 15 throws in total โ and your score accumulates across all three. The bullseye pays 50 points plus a 25-point bullseye bonus, so a perfect center hit is worth 75. Triples are worth 3ร the segment value (a triple-20 scores a whopping 60) and doubles are worth 2ร. The board uses the classic number order, so the juicy targets are surrounded by awkward low ones โ just like real darts.
Controls
- Space, Enter, mouse click or screen tap: throw a dart at the crosshair's current position.
- R: restart the match at any time.
- The crosshair drifts on its own โ you never aim it, you time it. Patience wins.
Tips
Learn the sway rhythm before you burn your first dart: the crosshair moves like a pendulum, so it briefly pauses at each swing's edge โ that's your cue. In rounds 2 and 3, wind gusts shove the crosshair sideways, and the gust direction changes every couple of seconds, so throw quickly once you've lined it up rather than waiting for perfection. Don't chase the triple-20 every time; a steady stream of single-20s beats one triple and four misses. Darts that land outside the double ring bounce off for zero, so a risky rim shot can cost you a whole dart.
Scoring
Each throw scores by segment and ring: single pays face value (1โ20), the thin triple ring pays 3ร, the outer double ring pays 2ร, the outer bull pays 25, and the bullseye pays 50 plus a 25-point bonus (75 total). Throws that miss the board score nothing. Your best match total is saved on your device and shown on the score bar.
