How to play Curling Clash
How to play
Curling Clash squeezes a full curling match into your browser: 4 ends against a crafty CPU, 4 stones each per end. Your stones are yellow, the CPU's are red. The goal of every end is simple — when all 8 stones are thrown, you score one point for each of your stones sitting closer to the button (the center of the house) than the CPU's best stone. Knock their stones out, guard your own, and don't slide yours out the back!
Controls
- Throw: press and hold your stone, drag back (down the screen) to charge up, then release. The stone fires the opposite way — drag down-left to send it up-right. The arrow shows your aim and power.
- Sweep: while YOUR stone is sliding, tap/click rapidly anywhere on the ice. Each tap adds a burst of glide and straightens the stone out — furious tapping can rescue a short throw.
- Stones that leave the sheet or sail past the back line are out of play.
Tips
- Sweep early and often — sweeping is strongest while the stone is fast, and it also kills sideways drift.
- Last stone (the hammer) is gold: on your final throw of an end, consider smashing the CPU's best stone out of the house.
- Soft touches beat rockets. A gentle stone that stops on the button is worth more than a cannonball in the stands.
Scoring
Standard curling scoring per end: count your stones closer to the button than the opponent's closest stone. Most total points after 4 ends wins. Your best winning margin is saved on this device — can you blank the CPU 8–0?
