How to play Crossy Hopper
How to play
Crossy Hopper is a cheerful frogger-style arcade challenge. Your frog starts on the grassy bank at the bottom and must reach the five lily pads glowing at the very top. First you cross four lanes of speeding traffic โ one touch from a car and you lose a life. Then comes the river: hop onto the floating logs to cross, because landing in the water means a splashy end. Park your frog on each of the five pads to bank points. Fill all five pads before the sixty-second timer runs out and you win the game.
Controls
Use the arrow keys or WASD to hop one square up, down, left or right. On a phone or tablet, swipe in the direction you want to hop โ up, down, left or right all work. Hops are quick but not instant, so time each one: wait for a gap in traffic, then hop-hop-hop between the cars. The โป Restart button resets the board instantly whenever you want a fresh run.
Tips
Traffic is the easy half โ the river is where runs die. Land in the middle of a log, not near its edge, because logs keep drifting and a frog near the rim can be carried off screen. Watch the direction each lane moves before you commit; logs in alternating rows slide opposite ways. Chain your river hops so you never sit on a log for long, and remember you can hop backwards onto the safe grassy bank to regroup. Grab the far-side pads first while the clock is generous โ the last pads under time pressure are the hardest.
Scoring
Every lily pad you fill earns 100 points, plus a speed bonus equal to twice the seconds left on the clock. Fill all five pads to win the round and collect a final bonus of five points per remaining second. Losing a life never costs points, so bold hops are always worth it โ but run out of lives or time and the game ends with whatever you banked.
