How to play
Comet Cleanup puts you at the helm of a vacuum ship on a 90-second debris-clearing run. Space is frictionless here: every burst of thrust keeps pushing you until you brake or drift slows you down, so plan your moves ahead. Your ship's vacuum field automatically pulls in any floating debris within range — bolts, panels and canisters all fly toward you and get vacuumed up. Chain pickups close together to grow a combo multiplier worth up to ×8, but spinning asteroids drift through the field too: smack one and your combo shatters, the clock loses 3 seconds, and you get knocked sideways. The round ends when the timer hits zero.
Controls
- Keyboard: rotate with ←/→ or A/D, thrust with ↑ or W, brake with ↓ or S.
- Touch: use the four on-screen buttons — ◀ ▶ to rotate, ▲ to thrust, ▼ to brake.
- Mouse: press and hold on the playfield — the ship steers toward your cursor and thrusts while you hold.
- Press Launch Ship to start and Fly Again for another run.
Tips
- The combo timer is generous but not endless — grab the next debris within a few seconds of the last one to keep the multiplier climbing.
- Thrust in short bursts and coast: a ship at full speed is a ship about to hit an asteroid.
- Asteroids give a brief shield flash after a hit — use that second to thrust clear instead of panicking.
Scoring
Each debris pickup scores 10 points × your current combo, so a ×8 streak is worth 80 a pop. The combo climbs by one for every pickup chained within the pickup window and caps at ×8; any asteroid collision resets it to ×1 and subtracts 3 seconds from the clock. Your final score, best combo and debris count are shown when time runs out — beat your own record on the next flight.
