How to play

Code Breaker is the classic logic duel against a hidden code. The game secretly picks 4 colors from a palette of 6 — colors can repeat, so don't rule out doubles. You have 10 guesses. Pick a color, tap the four slots, hit Submit. After each guess you get clue pegs: black means a color is exactly right in exactly the right spot, white means a color is in the code but in a different slot. Pegs never say which slot — that's the puzzle. Four black pegs cracks the code; run out of guesses and the code keeps its secret.

Controls

Tap a palette color, then tap board slots — or use the keyboard: 1–6 picks a color and fills the highlighted slot, arrows move between slots, Backspace clears, Enter submits. Clear empties the row; Hint reveals one true position for 150 points (max two per game). Fully touch friendly.

Tips

Open with four different colors to map the most territory. Zero pegs on guess one is secretly great — four colors eliminated at once. With white pegs, permute confirmed colors before trying new ones: swapping two slots turns a white into a black if you guessed the pair. If pegs stop improving, a repeat is hiding in the code. Save hints for the late game when one stubborn slot blocks victory.

Scoring

A win scores (11 − guesses used) × 100: a first-guess crack is 1000, a last-guess squeak is 100. Each hint costs 150, wins never score below 100, losses score zero. Your best is saved on your device — chase the first-guess jackpot.
