How to play
Boggle Bonanza is a race against the clock on a 4×4 tray of letter dice. You get three minutes to find as many words as you can. Build a word by tapping or dragging across letters that touch each other — horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Every word must be at least 3 letters long, each tile may be used only once within a single word, and the word has to appear in the game's built-in word list of thousands of common English words. Press Submit (or just lift your finger after dragging) to bank the word. Each word can only be found once per game, so keep hunting for fresh ones until the timer runs out!
Controls
- Mouse: click letters one by one to build a word (click the last selected letter to undo it), then press ✔ Submit or Enter. Or press down on a letter and drag across the grid — releasing auto-submits.
- Touch: tap letters in order, or drag your finger across touching letters and lift to submit.
- ✖ Clear (or Backspace) wipes the current word. 🎲 New Letters reshuffles the dice and restarts the timer.
Tips
Common prefixes and suffixes are gold: once you spot a path for "PLAY", check "PLAYS", "PLAYED" and "PLAYER" along nearby tiles. Vowels are the bottleneck — plan every word around the vowels you can reach. Don't ignore the 3-letter words: they're only worth 1 point each, but they add up fast and keep your eyes moving. Diagonal moves unlock far more paths than straight lines, so zigzag! And remember, a word you already found can't score twice — if Submit says "Already found", move on instead of re-tracing it.
Scoring
Points grow with word length: 3–4 letters = 1 point, 5 letters = 2, 6 = 3, 7 = 5, and 8 or more = 11 points. Your best score is saved on your device automatically — chase it every round!
