How to play Blackjack 21
How to play
Blackjack 21 is the classic casino card duel against the dealer. Each round you place a bet from your chip stack, then you and the dealer each receive two cards โ one of the dealer's cards stays face down. Number cards count at face value, face cards count as 10, and aces flex between 1 and 11, whichever helps your hand most. Your goal is simple: finish with a hand total closer to 21 than the dealer's without going over. Go past 21 and you bust, losing the round instantly. After you finish your turn, the dealer reveals the hidden card and must draw until reaching 17, then the higher hand wins.
Controls
Everything runs on the buttons under the table: pick a bet chip (10, 25, 50, 100 or 250), then press Deal. During your turn, Hit takes another card, Stand locks in your total, and Double doubles your bet for exactly one more card before standing โ it only appears when you can afford it on your first decision. Keyboard players can use 1โ5 to pick a bet, Enter to deal, H to hit, S to stand and D to double. The round history at the bottom of the table tracks your recent results.
Tips
A natural blackjack โ an ace plus a 10-value card on your first two cards โ pays 3:2, the best deal on the table, so it is always worth playing when the shoe is rich. Doubling down on 11 is the classic power move: you have great odds of landing 21 with a single card. Stand on 17 or higher and let the dealer do the busting; hit soft hands aggressively because an ace can never bust you on one card. Watch the shoe count in the score bar โ when it runs low the deck is reshuffled, which resets the odds.
Scoring
You start with 1,000 chips. A normal win returns your bet plus an equal profit (1:1), a push returns your bet, and a natural blackjack pays 3:2 โ a 100-chip bet becomes 250 back in your stack. Losing hands and busts forfeit the bet. If your balance hits zero, the overlay offers a fresh 1,000-chip stack so the game never truly ends. Your balance is saved in your browser between visits.
