How to play

Balloon Archer turns you into a festival sharpshooter. Colorful balloons drift up from the bottom of the field while you stand at the base with your trusty bow. Point where you want the arrow to go and release to loose it — the arrow arcs through the air on its way up, so a little leading of your target goes a long way. Popping balloons in a row without missing builds your combo multiplier, which keeps your score climbing fast. You only get 25 arrows, so every shot counts. Golden balloons are rare and worth a fortune, but bomb balloons are pure trouble: pop one and you lose points plus your entire combo. The game ends when your last arrow flies, and then your final score is locked in.

Controls

Mouse: press and hold anywhere on the field, drag to aim, and release to fire — the aim line shows exactly where your arrow will start its flight. Touch: use your finger the same way, press, drag to aim, and lift to shoot. The farther you drag from the archer, the faster the arrow flies. Press Enter to start the game or restart after a game over. The field uses touch-action none, so aiming on a phone will not scroll the page.

Tips

The wind meter at the top is your best friend: a strong crosswind pushes arrows sideways, so aim slightly into the wind on long shots and re-check it every few seconds because it shifts without warning. Fast arrows fly flatter, so a full-power drag beats a lazy lob when balloons are high. Lead rising balloons by aiming a touch above them, since they keep climbing while your arrow travels. Save your nerves for golden balloons — they rise slowly, so line up a careful full-power shot. Bomb balloons are easy to spot by their dark color and sparking fuse; if one drifts into your line of fire, wait for it to pass.

Scoring

Every popped balloon earns 10 points plus 5 bonus points for each step of your current combo, so a five-hit streak turns a single pop into 30 points. Golden balloons award a flat 100 points and keep your combo alive. Missing a shot — letting an arrow fly off the field — resets your combo to zero, and popping a bomb balloon costs 25 points and wipes the combo too. Your score, remaining arrows, wind, and combo multiplier are always visible in the score bar, and your personal best is saved on your device so every round has a target to beat.
