🚀 Asteroid Blaster
Big rocks split into small rocks — keep blasting until the sector is clear!
How to play Asteroid Blaster
How to play
You are the lone pilot of a rocket ship stranded in an asteroid storm. Blast every rock into dust to clear the wave — but watch out: big asteroids don't just vanish, they split into smaller, faster chunks that keep coming. Your ship has 3 lives, and each collision costs one. Clear a wave and a bigger, meaner one warps in. Survive as long as you can and rack up the highest score in the sector.
Controls
- Keyboard: ← / → (or A / D) rotate the ship, ↑ (or W) fires the thrusters, Space shoots.
- Mouse: press and hold to aim the ship at your cursor and auto-fire.
- Touch: drag on the screen — the ship turns toward your finger, thrusts, and fires.
- Press Play to launch, Play Again after a game over.
Tips
- Don't sit still — a drifting ship is a dead ship. Keep moving and use the screen edges to wrap around danger.
- Shoot big rocks from a distance; the small fragments they spawn are the real killers up close.
- After losing a life you get a few seconds of shimmering invulnerability — use them to reposition, not to show off.
- Short, controlled bursts of thrust beat holding the button down; momentum is hard to kill in space.
Scoring
Every asteroid you vaporize pays out: 20 points for a big rock, 50 for a medium chunk, and 100 for a small fragment. Since one big asteroid eventually becomes a shower of small ones, a fully cleared rock is worth a tidy pile of points. Your best score is saved in your browser — clear waves, protect your 3 lives, and chase that high score.
