Press, drag in the direction you want to shoot, and release — the arrow flies along your drag. Longer drag = more power. Watch the wind — it pushes every arrow sideways. 10 arrows, moving target!

How to play Archery Range

How to play

Archery Range gives you 10 arrows and a target that slides up and down the far end of the field. Press down anywhere on the range, drag in the direction you want the arrow to fly, and release to shoot — a longer drag fires a faster, flatter arrow. The dotted guide line shows your arrow's expected flight path before you let go. After every shot the wind changes direction and strength, so read the wind meter before each pull and adjust your aim to compensate.

Controls

Everything runs on one gesture: press down (mouse or finger), drag in the direction you want the arrow to fly, and release to shoot. Drag up-and-right to launch up-and-right — the dotted guide line previews the flight path before you let go, so you can adjust. A longer drag means a faster, flatter shot; a short drag lobs the arrow gently. Keyboard players can press Enter on the Start button to begin; aiming itself needs a pointer or finger.

Tips

Aim slightly ahead of the moving target rather than at it — arrows take time to cross the field. Strong rightward wind means you should aim left of center, and vice versa. Gentle pulls are surprisingly effective on close shots: full power on a slow-moving target usually overshoots. Watch the target's bounce point at the top and bottom of its slide, since it pauses there for a split second and makes an easy hit. Save your calmest, most deliberate shots for the final arrows when you know your rhythm.

Scoring

The target has four rings: the outer white ring is 10 points, blue is 25, red is 50, and the golden bullseye is 100. Hitting the target dead-center three times across your 10 arrows is a genuinely excellent round. Anything above 400 points marks a steady archer, 600+ is club-champion territory, and a perfect 1,000 means you are ready for the Olympics. Misses score nothing, so a slow careful pull beats a wild power shot every time.
